Holiday Catalog Blog Hop

Welcome to our monthly Ladybug ink. Blog Hop.

My last post was a sneak peek of our card from my Technique Club.
This month we learned the Faux Tile technique.
The Simply Scored Diagonal Plate made this technique a piece of cake!
We also used the new Envelope Punch Board.
Truly, creating envelopes has never been so easy or so much fun!!

I am loving the newThinlit Cards Dies, especially since we have the new, wildly popular
Magnetic Platform.  You can order them today!
If you own a Big Shot, you have to have this incredible tool!
If you don't own a Big Shot, you have to order one just so you can use the Magnetic Platform.
It's that awesome!

We'll learn a new technique at next month's club.
Club is the second Tuesday of each month.
Don't miss it!

So Excited.....

to finally see my desk again!!!
The desk in my Stamp Studio hadn't been organized since I moved locations.
Today I finally finished it and I love it!

My new studio is bigger and better than ever.
I love how the faux brick adds texture and interest.
The shelves above my desk hold ink pads, new accessories, Snail, and my Undefined Kit.
My favorite part of my desk is the tower of dessert trays on the right.  I have lots of little containers on it to organized odds and ends.  I love how the glossy colors make a striking focal point.  I'll take a close up photo of it for my next Stamp Studio posting.

Earrings and Barrettes

These are more of the items I made to sell using retired accessories.
These are buttons and brads glued to earring posts.

Here is my daughter Ruby modeling a barrette and also the earrings she made using
SU's mini clothes pins.

More barrettes!

New Label Card Thinlits and Magnificent Maple

Tonight is our demonstrator shoebox swap.  This is my project I'm bringing for everyone to make.
Ask me how you can join us at our next swap!
It uses the new Label Card Thinlits Die and the Magnificent Maple stamp from the Holiday Catalog.
This card was inspired by my downline Bobbi from Arizona.

This die normally doesn't have this extra foldout panel.  I learned to do this by watching fellow demonstrator Dawn Griffith.  Check our her video to learn how to expand your Thinlits cards.
She also gives instructions on cutting the DSP for your card.

The leaf is colored using the Thumping Technique.  I inked the stamp in Crushed Curry then thumped the stamp with Cajun Craze and Early Espresso markers.

Giggle Greetings

Maybe you have to be a cat owner to appreciate this.
I own three cats, so this card cracks me up every time I look at it!

Stamp Studio Sneak Peek

To make room for my three daughters to each have their own rooms,
my generous and gracious friend Janet allowed me to move my craft room to her house.
The move inspired me to upgrade my craft room to a stamp studio.
It's awesome!  I can't wait for you to see all of it.
For now, here is a sneak peek.
Stamp Shelf.  These are my current stamps.
The retired ones have their own shelf.
