SOOOO excited by Undefined!!!!!!!!!!

Today I carved my very first stamp with Stampin' Up's new Undefined kit and
I'm totally hooked!!!!
A big thank you to Karen Turley-Corbett who came over and walked me through it.

Here's the backside.  Pretty rough looking, but stamps beautifully.

It truly carves like butter.  Such a fun and rewarding process!
I'd love to teach you how to make your very own, one-of-a-kind stamp!

Holiday Catalog - Truly Grateful and Magnificent Maple

We had our monthly downline meeting last week.  Our card exchange theme was Holiday Mini.  I did two sets this time.  I have a new recruit and I always make a set of cards for those that join my team.
Truly Grateful Stamp Set - Design Cased from Jackie Bolhuis

The wheat image was simply colored with markers.

Magnificent Maple - Design Cased from Michele Reynolds
The leaf image was made using the technique called "thumping".
I inked the stamp with a Close to Cocoa ink pad then
"thumped" the markers Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke.
Check back tomorrow for the rest of our card exchange.

Ribbon Blog Hop - WIN a Ribbon Roll Control!!!

This month our blog hop features ribbon and the fabulous Ribbon Roll Control!
This card is made from the fun new set Spread The Joy.  I love these stamps!
My favorite is this little piece of bread.  It begged to be embossed to look like grape jelly!
The ribbon I used was originally Very Vanilla.
I ran it over an ink pad with a sponge to make it match my card.

I love ribbon and I buy a whole lot more of it now that I have the perfect organization for it.
This isn't my stash!  It's a photo from Ribbon Roll Control.
My friend and fellow demonstrator, Trish, along with her husband, designed the
best system to organize ribbon ever known to man!  These can be mounted to the wall or left free standing.  They are also stackable.  View Trish's video to see them in action.

Want a free Ribbon Roll Control????
Trish has generously donated one for me to give away.  Leave a comment on my blog by Sunday.  I will draw a name Monday and let you know the winner!

Keep on hopping!

Birthday Card Buffet

Just how many stamps does it take for 15 card designs?
A whole basket full!

I had 15 cards to choose from for my card buffet.  I love preparing for this class!
I challenge myself to only use products I have on hand.  Remember I talked in a previous post about hoarding accessories?  That's not all I hoard!  I have dozens of packets of precut cards just waiting to be stamped.  The cards for the buffet used a mix of current and retired products.  All but one card uses current stamp sets.

This was my favorite of the 15 designs.  It's so super easy!
I stamped with Elegant Eggplant and went over the stamped image with
an Aquapainter.  Quickest watercolor ever!

I challenge you this week to use what you have on hand to
create a birthday card for someone you love!
