Secret Garden Watercolor

Watercoloring is my favorite technique.  You can use our creamy watercolor crayons, markers, watercolor pencils, or my favorite, our classic reinkers.  I also prefer using our watercolor paper for the best results.  For this card, I used the classic reinkers in Sahara Sand (105220), Daffodil Delight (119672), and More Mustard (101962).  I put a few drops right in the lid of the ink pad and apply it with our Aqua Painters (103954).   Fast, easy and beautiful!

All the stamps, ink, paper, and accessories to create pinable projects. Create stuff like cards, journals, décor, and more!
Paper Pumpkin by Stampin' Up! is a new monthly kit program that anyone (even you) can enjoy!

PAPER PUMPKIN PAJAMA PARTY!
If you add me as your demo when you join Paper Pumpkin, you'll be invited to my FREE Paper Pumpkin Pajama Party.  On the third Thursday of month we'll get together for about an hour to create our kits, enjoy stamping fellowship, and share yummy treats.  Pajama attire is optional.  :)  I will have a free bonus project for you to create with your kit. If you join under me, or already have joined under me, just send me a quick email to let me know.  I had someone think they joined under me, but she wasn't listed under me when I looked.  I don't want to miss anyone.

It's so easy to get started. Simply sign up for the program by visiting www.mypaperpumpkin.com and click Get it.  Make sure after you enter your payment info to ask for me as your demonstrator.  Every month a new, surprise project kit arrives at your doorstep. Just think of the anticipation of creating a fun project to pin, showoff, and share with your friends and family-every month!
The very first Paper Pumpkin will arrive on your doorstep starting in March-if you sign up before March 10.
Of course, you'll want to know more. So here's the nitty gritty:
  • Each month we send you a unique, surprise kit with a project-cards, journals, décor, and more! (We've even color-coordinated, measured, and cut everything for you!)
  • Each kit includes stamps, ink, paper, and accessories-everything but adhesive.
  • Each kit gives you a 30-minute creativity escape.
  • We will ship your Paper Pumpkin on or around the 15th of the month.
  • You need to sign up for a kit by the 10th of the month to get that month's kit. If you sign up on the 11th of the month, your first kit will come the next month. (Let's say you sign up on May 10th, we'll send your kit around May 15th. If you sign up on May 11th, we'll send your first kit around June 15th.)

Lovely Ladybugs Day

This was the first of my Lovely Ladybugs Day.  It is a day of pampering, great food, and fun projects for those demonstrators in my group that meet certain criteria.  It's an incentive for the ladies in my group that are working to grow their business.  I will have these twice a year.  Ask me how you can come to my next Lovely Ladybugs day this summer!

I wanted everything about this day to be extra special.  Since this was right before Valentine's Day, I went with a pink and red color scheme and lots of hearts.

No pampering would be complete without lots of chocolate!

Everyone's plate had a box of chocolate that I decorated with the new More Amore DSP (129309) and the Hearts Collection Framelits (125599).  I made cloth napkins out of The More Amore Designer Fabric (129307).

Everyone also got a set of the fun, new Soda Pop Tops (129388).  I love these!  You'll see why in the Make & Take photos.  I decorated each container with a heart cut from the
More Amore DSP (1293009) and a Flower Trim (126869) with a Rhinestone.

On the menu was Ham Florentine, a fruit salad, heart shaped brownies, and pretzels with melted kisses.

After lunch was make & take time.

Here's why I love the Soda Pop Tops so much!  You can use the Big Shot to flatten them.  I added DSP and an initial made using MDS.  I coated it with Crystal Effects and added a Rhinestone.  These are beautiful as jewelry or added to a card.  Want to learn to make these?  I can show you how!  Book your workshop today and I'll show you and your guests how to make these cute accents.
The heart pocket was made using the Petal Cone die (121810), More Amore DSP (129309), and Hearts a Flutter stamps (129249) and dies (130159).

I love the magnet boards we made.  This is a frame with the glass removed.  A piece of metal roofing flashing is behind the dsp.  The magnets are made using both sizes of the Soda Pop Tops.

Here are my happy Lovely Ladybugs.  From the left: Vicki, Cassie, Kay, Ruth, and Karen.

This was such a fun day!  I can't wait to start planning the next one!
I would love to see each of you there.  Ask me how!!
