Stamp Camp - Simply Sketched

The last set of Stamp Camp cards use the set Simply Sketched.
This is a hostess only set.  Host an in-home or online workshop to earn this set for FREE!

It's hard to tell from the photo but the base of this card is the new In Color Pistachio Pudding.  The funny story behind this card is that my Demonstrator-in-training, 12 year old daughter made this card for my husband for Father's Day.  Noticed the greeting.  "With Heartfelt Sympathy"  She felt it was appropriate for a dad that is raising three daughters: one in elementary school, one in middle school, and one in high school.  Yes, sympathy is pretty appropriate!

Ruth chose a different image from the same set.  Stampin' Up! stamp sets are so versatile.  Ruth and I used the same stamp set and two of the same colors and ended up with two very different cards.  I love the watercolored bird.  The images in this set are perfect to color with markers or watercolors, but they are pretty enough to stand on their own.  (See page 205 of the new catalog.)

Stamp Camp - Mosaic Madness

Here is the second set of cards from Stamp Camp.
These cards both use the set Mosaic Madness and the coordinating Mosaic Punch.  This stamp set and punch come in a bundle that saves you 15%!
I used the new In Colors Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe.

In addition to Mosaic Madness, Ruth used the set Regarding Dahlias.  This beautiful card uses the colors Early Espresso and Coastal Cabana.  What a great combo!

Check back tomorrow for the last set of Stamp Camp cards.

Stamp Camp Projects: Label Love

My downline, Ruth, and I hold an annual New Catalog Stamp Camp.  We focus on new stamp sets, colors, and accessories.  Would you like to be invited to our Sale-a-bration Stamp Camp?  Let me know you'd like to be on my email list.

This is my favorite card from this Stamp Camp.  I tend to gravitate towards clean and simple cards.  It uses the new set Label Love and the coordinating Artisan Label Punch.  I also love the new In Color Coastal Cabana and In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.  My favorite part of this card is the new Ruffle Stretch Trim.  It's so delicate and pretty and its strechiness makes it so versatile.  Love it!  and it comes in all the new, yummy In Colors.

I also love Ruth's cute card using the same set.  And look!  She also used the new Ruffle Stretch Trim in Strawberry Slush. So flirty and fun!

Check back for the next two sets of cards!

Paper Pumpkin: Hello To You

I loved this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit!
Join Paper Pumpkin here: https://mypaperpumpkin.com?demoid=16386
These fun kits come with stamps, ink, and all the precut supplies to make your projects.
We made 4 cards with envelopes this month.

I love all the popped out and popped up hexagons!

This is the free Pajama Party bonus project.  I absolutely love it!!!
I used the "kiss technique" for the flower.  I inked up the Paper Pumpkin stamp with Crisp Cantaloupe and then pressed the flower stamp on the inked stamp.  Such an easy and fun technique.

Here is the back of the card stamped with my new, personalized stamp.

Did you know we have a great selection of personalized stamps?  Create your own greeting, invitation, address stamp, announcement...the possibilities are endless!

Washi Tape and Embossed Brads

This was the project I showed at my downline meeting last night.

These are our Antique Brads that I heat embossed.

It's so easy to do.  Holding the brad with tweezers, press it into a Versamark Pad then dip it into embossing powder.  Tap off the excess, then heat with a Heat Tool.  Give it a few seconds to cool.
This was the gift for the drawing for my downline.  They are clothes pins covered with Washi Tape.  I'm not sure yet how I feel about Washi Tape, but this was a really fun and easy project using this new product.  It comes in 6 different designs and is really affordable.  I've seen it used on cards, scrapbooks,  to cover pencils, to seal our new Tag a Bag Gift Bags.  What fun way can you come up with to use Washi Tape?

Paper Pumpkin Bonus Project

This is the bonus project we made this month at my
Paper Pumpkin Pajama Party.
This month's kit was the cutest little scrapbook.  There were plenty of extra supplies.  The DSP, button, baker's twine, and die cut were all from the kit.  The cardstock, embossing folder, and word stamp we added to make this cute and quick card.
Won't you join us for this monthly stamping retreat?
