Perpetual Birthday Calendar - June
June's projects were so unexpected for me,
but I love them!
I thought I'd go bright and summery,
but I really love the effect of
the white on the Crumb Cake.

Perpetual Birthday Calendar - January
My Birthday Bash class
was a hit. It took us a little longer than
expected to get all 12 cards and 12 calendar
pages completed, but they all turned out great!
Here are the projects for January.
The projects for February and April
are here.
More projects to come.

Paper Pumpkin - Layers of Gratitude
This month's Paper Pumpkin kit came with these
fun, long Thank You cards
and little boxes to hold them.
The orange felt letters had self-adhesive so they were easy to work with.
I decided to cut the other cards into small gift cards.
I picked a word to go with each letter.
This card I made for my oldest daughter.
She's a senior in high school and had a very busy,
stressful day. I put it in a little gift bag full of goodies
and left it for her at her school.
All the little notecards fit nicely
in these cute little boxes.
They are also the perfect size for a gift card.
Refills for this kit and many other past Paper Pumpkin
kits are available for current subscribers.

Something For Baby
Last week I helped host a baby shower for
our sweet friend Reka.
I love giving handmade cards as gifts.
I made this set of thank you cards
using Something For Baby Bundle.
It has the cutest little stamps with
coordinating die cuts.
For the party favors, I made these adorable boxes
and filled them with chocolate.
This is our new Large Kraft Journal.
In it I recorded the list of gifts and
all the guests wrote notes of encouragement and advice.
Reka has extra room to record her own thoughts, baby's firsts,
or to add photos.
The initial was made using our Simply Pressed Clay
and Alphanumeric Mold.
I watercolored it with ink.
Here is the little gift card.
I forgot to take a picture of the shower invite,
but you can see a similar version here.

Berry Basket Die
Stampin' Up's exclusive die cuts are THE BEST!!!
This is the new Berry Basket Die.
It is super adorable.
You can die cut cardstock, DSP, or even chip board to create these sweet baskets.
I used the free Sale-a-bration Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP.
The link takes you to our SAB catalog. This is the last month
to earn these free products!!
The specialty DSP is white and has an embossed pattern that resists ink.
You can sponge any color onto the paper and the pattern appears.
I adorned the basket using the Butterfly Basics stamps
and Butterflies Thinlits Dies.

Wet Watercolor Crayon
Last month's technique for club was
Wet Watercolor Crayon stamping.
You color directly on the stamp with a watercolor crayon,
spritz it with water, then stamp it.
Sadly, SU no longer sells watercolor crayons,
but you can get a similar effect using markers.
This little bird is from the free Sale-a-bration set
Sale-A-Bration ends March 31st!
Don't miss out!
