Sterling Kiss

I forgot to share the most important part of how the chocolate kiss became the trademark for my husband and I.
He started working for a jewelry store before we started dating.  When I found out where he worked, I said, "Oh, that's the place that sells those little silver kiss necklaces!  I've always wanted one of those!"  He stored that tidbit of info away, and later, the first week we started dating, he gave me a silver kiss necklace.   It's still one of my prized possessions.  It impressed me that he remembered I mentioned wanting one.  He's always been great about remembering things I like and surprising me with them.

To make sure there is a little Stampin' Up! in this post, the necklace is displayed on a Very Vanilla heart punched with the Full Heart punch (119883) and our new Paper Doilies (129399).

Calendar Pages

I promised I'd show you the calendar pages we made in class.  I have this on my desk at work.  It brightens my day!  The pages come pre-printed.  I just added an embellishment to each month.  Super fast and easy.  I did some stamping and also added some punched images. I love these and hope Stampin' Up offers them again next year.

My favorite was actually the easiest and most simple.  I just masked the page and stamped the Sunflower background stamp.

If you still have one of these you've been intending to use, I hope this has given you some ideas.  We still have 9 months this year, so it's not too late!

Blossom Petals Punch Valentine

This is one of my favorite Valentine cards ever!  It was made by Susan Campfield from Minnestota.  She thought outside of the box and used the Blossom Petals Builder Punch (121808).  This punch is designed to be flower petals, but I loved how she made it into a kiss.  I also loved how she used Itty Bitty Banners (126255) for the tag!  So cute!

I'm going to give this card to my Forever Valentine.  Chocolate kisses have always been our little trademark.  We both say that we knew after our first kiss that we were going to get married.  On the morning of our wedding, I left a care package for my hubby-to-be at the front desk of his hotel.  It included a glass jar in the shape of a Hershey kiss and was filled with chocolate kisses.
His kisses still give me butterflies, even after nearly 17 years of marriage!  :)

The card is displayed on our new More Amore Designer Fabric (129307).  I'm using this fabric as part of a surprise for my downline that are attending my Lovely Ladybug Day on Saturday.  More on that in my next post!

Thanks for looking!
