Wrap It Up

Do you have way more paper crafting supplies than you can use in a lifetime?
I sure do, but I never have much wrapping paper when I need it.
I solved both problems by using some retired SU DSP to wrap some graduation gifts.
Now I'll never run out of wrapping paper!

June Ladybug ink. Night

This is my card for my last card swap with my downline.
I used the utterly amazing Blendabilities!
These markers are my favorite product
Stampin' Up has ever released.

I am astounded by how easy these markers are to use
and by how smooth and vivd the colors are.
Unfortunately, these markers are not yet available to customers.
If you can't wait to have them,
take advantage of the $50 SU starter kit!
You get to choose $55 of product of your choice!

Here is the Daffodil Delight set.
I was playing with different techniques.
Each set comes with three markers of gradated colors to super easy to blend and shade.
You can start from lightest to darkest or darkest to lightest.
Starting with the darkest color and ending by covering the whole image
with the lightest colors produces the smoothest final image.

Here is the Cherry Cobbler set.

Here is the Rich Razzleberry set.
As soon as these are available to customers, I will be offering a Blendabilities Class!

June Technique Club

This was the last month for Technique Club.
My next club will be starting in September.
Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!

Our first technique this month was Iris Folding.

You layer small strips of DSP behind a punched window.
I put this technique off all year because I thought it looked too complicated.
Turns out it was surprisingly easy!

The new Typeset DSP was perfect for this project because the paper is
so thin and easy to fold.

The second technique was Crimped Diamond Background,
another technique I thought would be hard but was super simple.
You score and fold the cardstock, then run it through the crimper.

We used the new Flower Patch bundle to embellish this card.

Baby Shower Gift

Our pastor's wife at church is expecting a little boy.
They have two daughters, so I wanted to play up the boy theme!
I whipped out 20 of these cute little notecards in just over an hour.
I've been loving giving sets of cards as gifts.  Just popping them in a cello bag,
tying them with ribbon and adding a cute tag
makes this sweet and simple gift look so impressive.

It was a breeze making so many cards using our
and the super cute new stamps and framelits bundle

Our associate pastor's wife is also expecting
their third daughter!
She will be receiving a set of cards with a girly theme.
These are going to become my go-to baby shower gift!
Every mom-to-be needs plenty of Thank You cards on hand.

Stamp Camp Work Of Art

For the third set we used Work of Art.
I also used the new Crumb Cake Notecards and Envelopes.
I love these little precut notecards!
There are also a couple of the fun new In Color Sequin Assortment.

These cards are as different as yesterday's cards were similar!
We did both choose to use Lost Lagoon, paper, ink and ribbon.
I love the glitter paper peaking from beneath the punched heart.

I hope you are inspired to attend our Sale-a-bration Stamp Camp in February!

Stamp Camp Something To Say

For the second set, we used Something To Say
and the coordinating Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

Our cards turned out looking very similar since we used the same DSP Moonlight
and the new In Colors Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey.

Stamp Camp Blended Bloom

Every stamp camp, Ruth and I pick three new stamp sets
and we each create a card using those sets.
Our customers get to create a total of 6 cards using new stamps, colors, and accessories.

For the first card we used Blended Bloom.
This turned out to be my favorite card of this stamp camp.
I embossed the image and words in white.

I used 4 of the 5 new In Colors.
Here it is in Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow.

Here is Ruth's card using Blended Bloom.
She used the large splatter from the Gorgeous Grunge set and
stamped it a couple times on the flower.
I love the dramatic look it gives the flower.

Stamp Camp

My downline Ruth and I just had our annual New Catalog Stamp Camp!
It was a blast, as usual!

Here is our check-in table with the supply packets, new catalogs, and door prizes!

I used the new Polka Dot Tag a Bags.  It made packaging my door prizes so quick and fun.
This package held a half pack of the new Printed Clothespins.

Between Ruth and I, we filled 5 six foot tables with retired stamps and accessories!!!
We sell it all for at least 1/2 off.  It's a really good reason to never miss stamp camp!

Happy shoppers.
I totally forgot to take pictures of happy stampers!
Project pictures will be in upcoming blogs.

My middle daughter Ruby helps out at every stamp camp.
We decided our new tradition will be to go to
Flying Star for dessert after all our hard work at stamp camp.

We split a fruit tart and coconut, raspberry, lemon cake.
We'll look forward to this new tradition as much as we look forward to stamp camp!
